Social Media Ambassador banner
You’re invited to join the Otterbein Social Media Ambassador program and use your social media powers for good! You can help Otterbein spread the word about special events in your community by incorporating our message in your social media activities.

This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who have busy lives that include work, family and social engagements, but still have the Cardinal spirit! The time commitment is minimal, but it can have a wide ranging impact.

What is a social media ambassador?

The concept of the social media ambassador is to spread university news and updates to friends and followers through the ambassador’s social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whichever networks you would like to use. The ambassadors will be provided with all of the information needed, including wording, pictures and links where appropriate. It’s a low time commitment, high-impact opportunity. Bullet points include:

  • Post 10-15 messages for the entire year (during 3 or 4 scheduled events) on the ambassador’s social media accounts. An ambassador can pick and choose what he/she wants to do or not do want to post. You are under no contract!
  • Have ambassador consider changing his/her profile picture to the theme of the event being promoted (the photo will be provided).
  • Interact with users, when need be  (i.e. when questions are asked, or re-direct them to Matthew R. D'Oyly '04 at mdoyly@otterbein.edu)

You can be the voice that reaches fellow Otterbein alumni and friends and keep them In-the-know.
