Wellness: Our Choices Matter

From Safety Week to celebrating the end of the semester with a No Stress Zone, we offer a variety of programs to help educate you on important wellness topics.

Learn about eating disorders from those who have been there. Find out how you can support a friend who suffers from an eating disorder.

By this time, we are all ready for someplace warm. Watch for important information on smart party strategies.

Wellness is partnering with Tau Epsilon Mu to discuss and raise awareness about relationship violence.

Maymester Choices Class: A For-Credit Alcohol Education Course
Get a wellness credit during Maymester and learn important strategies for great decision-making. 

Wellness Topics

The topics below are addressed throughout the year through various programming:

  • Alcohol
  • Substance abuse
  • Stress management
  • Depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Sexual health
  • Sexual assault
  • Women's issues
  • Rx drug awareness

Wellness-sponsored programs are designed to increase awareness on these important topics and help students develop strategies for handling issues that arise during the college years.

Students are encouraged to join support groups or schedule an appointment to see a counselor on campus when they are confronted with personal challenges or simply need an outside resource to speak with.
