Facilities and Equipment

The interdisciplinary program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is housed on the second floor of the Schear-McFadden Science Center along with the Physics, Chemistry, Life and Earth Sciences, Equine Science and Nursing departments. In fall 2009, the Science Center reopened after a $20 million project to modernize and expand the existing science facility.

The new Science Center boasts a total of over 96,000 square feet of well-equipped laboratories, technologically advanced classrooms, and dedicated research space. We also have 2 greenhouses and a turtle habitat.
